Installing MX340 Onto Windows 8 Laptop Without Drivers

Hi All,

I have a windows 8 laptop and I want to add my MX340 via my wireless router. The issue is that I have no ability to install drivers. I have no administrator priveleges whatsoever (nor any way to get admin priveleges). I tried doing so via the printer wizard however that did not work either as my printer never got detected. Any ideas?

Hello john.

Unfortunately, you would need to have Admin level access to the computer in order to be able to install our printers on the computer. Please contact your computer manufacturer or system administrator to see if you can get the proper access to the computer.
