Scanner control software detected error -4433 with Canon DR-C125 scanner?

We have a Cannon DR-C125 that at random gives and error that reads "Scanner control software detected error -4433". Not finding an answer about this error anywhere that I have looked. This happens at random and on more then one computer in the office. Anyone know about this error and what I can do to resolve it?

It is sometimes caused if Windows or the imageFORMULA Utility is not recognizing the scanner correctly. We recommend running the Restoration Tool for Windows Registry. To download the tool, please click the link below, and then select the [UTILITIES] tab:
