    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am using the latest Canon Pixma G7040 device in my home network. The printer and laptop are connected to the same WiFi network. When scan any documents, I am getting the error "Cannot communicate with scanner. ... Code 5, 157, 69"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I connect the printer to the laptop via USB and turn off WiFi, this error does not occur.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did search through this forum and the following did not help:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) Disabling Firewall and/or Antivirus on my laptop&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Disabling Firewall on the router&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is interesting that I I can print via USB and via WiFi also! Printing is working fine, scanning is not working via WiFi.
