Greetings,

Is the printer located a far distance away from your router? If yes, you might need to move it a little closer.

I suspect however, this is not the actual problem. See below.

Where to start.

Your router

The printer

Then Windows

Your printer and and computer are both connected to your router.

What is the IP address of your PC?

What is the IP address of your printer?

If you are using DHCP these IPs are changing, which means the IP of the printer may not be what your computer remembers or thinks it might be.

Suggest you give the printer a static IP address. Why, because it won't change and any device on your network can find it at its statically assigned "destination" IP.

Once this is set, correct the problem on the computer. You only need to do all of this once. This is because the IP of the printer will remain static, and not be a "moving target".
