Wi-Fi connection issue from android to Canon printer

I'm a little frustrated and need some help. I recently changed my WI FI password at home and today I went to set up wireless printing access from my Android to my Canon printer. During the set-up, it found the printer and when I attempted to connect it, I received a message that my WI-FI password for the printer is incorrect? I know its correct since I just changed my general wi-fi password and its written down. What do I need to do to connect the printer to my network? Thanks.
