Mg3650s wifi button doesn't work?

Hi there. Like many people before I have problems connecting my new printer to WiFi. In every solution it is said to push WiFi button until ON button comes on. But the WiFi button does nothing. Now what? I have restarted, unplugged, reset.
Is the machine broken? Or am I crazy? Please help ASAP due to return policies!
