topic Cable company replaced faulty router with exact replica (Motorola). MG5420 unable to connect now in Printer Software & Networking

I was previously able to print from my Ipad to this printer no problem. Can't figure out how to connect MG5420 printer to new router, even though the printer recognizes the new network ID?! New router is exact duplicate of old one. Any suggestions?

Hi carrn,

Since the router was replaced, you will need to reinstall the printer on your computer to reconnect it to your network. Once the printer is reconnected, you should be able to reconnect and print from your iPad to the printer again. So we can provide you with steps for downloading the latest drivers for your printer from the Canon USA website, please reply with what operating system is on your computer (version of Windows or Mac OS X).

We look forward to hearing from you!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, additional support options are available at Contact Us.
