I have wireless AT&T wifi, I put in the code to connect and it doesn't recognize???

I haven't a clue of what access code means. I have AT&T wireless. I've put in my wifi code as access but it doesn't work. I've download the Canon Print Inkjet/SSELPHY to my I phone with no help. I'm confused of how to make it work?
