Hello Everyone.

At home I have MikroTik RouterBoard 750GL connected to the Modem. ISP - Comcast.

Few devices connected to the router wirelessly: PC running Win 7 Home, iMac, couple phones.

I am trying to setup new MF227DW printer.

1. Trying wireless auto connect. Printer 'thinks' it connected to my SSID, wifi light is on, however printer is not on the network, it has IP address 169.254.62.150. The 169.xxx address indicates printer cannot find DHCP server.

2. Trying wired LAN. Connected cable...and printer cannot connect to my network. It has IP address 169.254.179.213.

Tested cable with computer and cable and router port work just fine.

3. Setting wireless LAN manually. Printer is online and works, then I shut it down. Next day turned the printer ON and it cannot connect to my network. Error: Check the security settings. The 'fix' is to clean up network setting and manually re-enter SSID, PSK, IP,Encryption mode.

Where can be a problem? Printer? Router?

Thanks!
