Canon mx 452 fax shows up but the printer doesn't

I have a Canon mx 452, and when I go to print the fax shows up but the printer doesn't. I can see it under my computer's network, but it won't show up, and if I try to add a printer i get error messages

Same thing is happening with my new MX922. Press Print and it goes to the fax menu. So cannot print!

Hi Bernborough,

In the program that you are trying to print from, please click on File and then Print. In the Print dialog box, is there a listing for both the Canon MX920 series Printer and Canon MX920 series Fax?

If there is a Canon MX920 series Printer listed, if you select it, are you able to print?
