I was attempting to print a file, but the program would crash immediately on Windows without providing a stacktrace.

I decided to run this on my Mac, which generally provides a stack trace upon crashing, which it did:

```
-------------------------------------
Translated Report (Full Report Below)
-------------------------------------
Process: CNPPLAPP [PID]
Path: /Applications/Canon Utilities/*/CNPPLAPP.app/Contents/MacOS/CNPPLAPP
Identifier: jp.co.canon.CNPPLAPP
Version: 1.6.1 (1.6.1)
Code Type: ARM-64 (Native)
Role: Background
Parent Process: launchd [1]
Coalition: jp.co.canon.CNPPLAPP [COALITION_ID]
User ID: 501
Date/Time: 2026-08-31 00:00:00.0000 -0700
Launch Time: 2026-08-31 00:00:00.0000 -0700
Hardware Model: Mac14,2
OS Version: macOS 26.x.x (Build)
Release Type: User
Crash Reporter Key: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
Incident Identifier: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
Sleep/Wake UUID: 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
Time Awake Since Boot: 150000 seconds
Time Since Wake: 441 seconds
System Integrity Protection: enabled
Triggered by Thread: 10
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Subtype: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000008
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000000000008
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 11, Segmentation fault: 11
Terminating Process: exc handler [PID]
Thread 10 Crashed:
0 CNPPLAPP psp::model::DataStore::data() const + 0
1 CNPPLAPP psp::model::IPLParamConverter::convertImageData(psp::model::ImageData const*) + 40
2 CNPPLAPP psp::model::ImageProcessor::processPrintImage(...) + 864
3 CNPPLAPP psp::model::ImageManager::getPrintImageData(...) + 1524
4 CNPPLAPP psp::model::ImageDataCreatorItem::createPrintImage(...) + 208
5 CNPPLAPP std::__1::__function::__func<...>::operator()(...) + 252
6 CNPPLAPP psp::model::ImageDataCreator::createImage(...) + 104
7 CNPPLAPP psp::model::ImageDataCreator::createPrintImage(...) + 440
8 CNPPLAPP psp::model::PrintImageRender::renderIfNeeded(...) + 1052
9 CNPPLAPP psp::model::PrintPageContent::render(...) + 112
10 CNPPLAPP psp::model::Print::callbackRequestCanvasRendering(...) + 92
11 CanonIJDirectPrint std::__1::__function::__func<...>::operator()() + 52
12 CanonIJDirectPrint dp::print::PrintOperationController::checkCancelBeforeOperation(...) + 68
13 CanonIJDirectPrint dp::print::PrintOperationController::drawCanvasMac(...) + 300
14 CanonIJDirectPrint dp::print::PrintOperationController::createCommand(...) + 176
15 CanonIJDirectPrint dp::print::PrintOperationController::startPrint() + 1492
16 CNPPLAPP psp::model::PrintOperationTask::onExecute() + 52
17 CNPPLAPP psp::common::QueuingTaskBase::execute() + 40
18 CNPPLAPP psp::common::QueuingTaskController::taskExecutor() + 136
19 CNPPLAPP -[PPLThreadExecutor executorForQueuingTaskController:] + 52
20 Foundation __NSThread__start__ + 732
21 libsystem_pthread.dylib _pthread_start + 136
22 libsystem_pthread.dylib thread_start + 8
```

The above stacktrace has been stripped for privacy reasons, but the reproduction process:

1. Export an image using Lightroom.

2. Attempt to use depth information.

3. Program should crash.

The program will print fine without using depth information. I am not sure what specifically causes this, as this is an entirely clean installation. I would send the offending file, but it contains personal information that I am not willing to share.

I originally suspected it to be related to metadata, but I attempted a clean re-export of the offending file using the Preview tool on Mac, which still caused the crash.
