Thanks everyone. some of this was above my pay grade, I had Kinetic on the line and after several efforts, they helped me fix the issue. It was one, the signal issue, Thank you. The other issue is the Pixma 8622a could not be found. It kept saying 8620 series. I do not know why he tried it, but he went to Pixma 8630 I think was the next series and it printed. I do not know why, I do not care, it just works. Now I have about 30 pages of work to print. Thank you all.

I have a new TR 8622a. I have a new modem and router via Kinetic. I thought it was my older Canon Printer, but my new one is installed and it is still showing off line. I have done everything my self, gone through 3 techs at Kinetic and the modem and printer to not seem to be connecting. One of the techs even came to your site. It copies, it just will not print. When trying to find the Kinetic address, it will not show on the Canon screen. I have another modem coming to see it it works. Something is clearly going on here, but I am not sure whos end it is on. I just need it fixed. If I cannot get this to work, I have always had Canons, but will return it for another brand.

The Orbit router has to be sending out a 2.4ghz signal, instead of or along with a 5gz signal. Your printer will not connect to a 5ghz signal, it will not even see it. This is the number one reason many brands of printers will not connect to a router, especially newer routers, which most of the time, default to 5ghz. This is one reason I have a printer/USB cable for both my Canon printers, any wifi issues I can still print and troubleshoot my connections.

If the printer does not find the network, ensure it is within range and that the router is functioning properly.

Double-check the Wi-Fi password for accuracy
