topic Canon 2020 Duplex printing for Microsoft apps in Printer Software & Networking

When will Canon produce software for duplex printing?

Printing Word and other documents only supports duplex manual printing. However, printing a pdf document does perfectly support duplex printing (printing on both sides).

My computer has a Snapdragon processor. and uses Windows 11.

My understanding is the Microsoft printer driver doesn't support duplex printing but the Canon driver does, which is why pdf document duplex printing works fine. It seems there is some mismatch between the Canon printer and Windows.

When will this be rectified?
