Canon Print app availability for iOS 16

Hi,
just installed printer TS705a. Everything ok on PC and Android.
Hoever print app on IOS needs version17 or higher. Is there any means to get something working on IOS16?

This has come up before here on the forum and unfortunately we were not able to come up with a fix.

In the mean time I could print by means of Airprint. No need for the Canon Print App which anyway is not of too much use.
