Greetings,

New xFinity router. Probably an XB8 OR XB9.

The printer requires a dedicated 2.4Ghz broadcast that uses WPA2 encryption.

You can use the xFinity App to configure a 2.4Ghz network with the appropriate encryption standard. The network broadcasts can be given unique names, and can use different encryption standards.

Newer routers often come pre-configured to use the same SSID name (wireless broadcast) names and also WPA3 encryption. You can edit these settings and tailor them to your needs. Once you have correct settings, I'm confident you'll be able to connect the printer to your new network.

Very good. Make sure the 2.4Ghz broadcast is using WPA3/WPA2 combo or WPA2 only in order for the printer to connect.
