Greetings,

We just had a recent topic on a similar product.

Your printer is approx 17 - 18 yrs old. It has not been officially supported since Windows 7.

Driver for Windows 7 (64 bit) are available here:

https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mp150

Note, 32 bit drivers can be installed on a 64bit OS. If yours won't install it's likely due to their age, not because of the version.

It is sometimes possible to install older drivers on a new OS. More true if they close to one another 7, 8, 10, etc. Please understand that older drivers can stop working without warning or notice as the new OS is updated. There isn't a way to predict this behavior. Windows 10 is also end of life. 😉

The link above is to the support portal for your retired product. I'm also providing links to the 2 installers you can try to install. They may work.

Printer driver:

https://pdisp01.c-wss.com/gdl/WWUFORedirectTarget.do?id=MDEwMDAwMjI5NTAx&cmp=ABR&lang=EN

MP Navigator / Scanner driver:

https://pdisp01.c-wss.com/gdl/WWUFORedirectTarget.do?id=MDkwMDAwMTcyNTAx&cmp=ABR&lang=EN mm

For the best possibility of success you need to follow these steps.

Unplug the USB cable for your printer from your system.

Visit Control Panel. Printers and Scanners. Right-click and Remove all instances of the printer. Do not leave any orphaned remnants behind.

Now visit Control Panel, Programs and Features and uninstall all Canon Drivers and Utilities.

Important: Restart your system

Now run the printer driver I provided above.

Do not connect the printer's USB cable to your system until prompted to do so by the installer.

Now run the MP Navigator / Scanner installer. When complete, restart your system.

Test printing and scanning.

Hopefully this helps.

Hello. Please share information to get the printer scanner feature to work on windows 10. My software is for 32-bit OS, and doesn't load on my 64-bit system. I found a printer driver but nothing that makes the scanner function. will appreciate any assistance.
