PIXMA TR4755i How to print two excel sheets double sided

I have a new Pixma TR4755i which includes automatic double sided printing.

I am trying to print an Excel workbook with two sheets, one on each side of the paper but even though I have selected "print on both sides", the printer prints the two sheets on separate sheets of paper.

I have followed instructions online on how to do it but I'm obviously doing something wrong.

Can anyone advise please.

It may be considering the two sheets as separate documents.

Agree with John's reply, tell us more about how the document is formatted? Are these documents on two tabs?

Yes they are on two tabs so I wanted one on one side and one on the other,

If both tabs print with one print command not two it should print on both sides of one page when auto duplex is selected. If it takes two commands to print then you are looking at manually flipping the page over.

Printing Double-Sided in Excel

To print a document double-sided in Excel, follow these steps:

Check Printer Capability: Ensure your printer supports duplex (double-sided) printing.
Open Print Settings: Go to File > Print in Excel.

Page Setup

I'm looking at DerrickL's response now, another option may be to set the printable area to both sheets. One page tall and two pages wide. I'm not at home at the moment so I don't have the option of testing. I've also never tried linking two tabs but I'm sure it's possible.

Yes thanks. I followed Derrick's solution step by step and discovered there are two places in Excel to select double sided printing. The first is in the normal print dialogue box but after that there is a second screen that comes up asking if you want one sided or double sided printing so I clicked on that one and it's worked. Thank you so much everyone.
