Greetings YBon,

Your version of office does not affect your printer's operation. Upgrading your OS however could impact your ability to use any peripheral device, like a printer.

What I suggest. Remove the device from your computer. Next uninstall all software drivers and Canon applications.

Now restart your system.

Optional but recommended. I suggest you assign the printer of static IP on your network. This can be done on your router and only has to be done once. This ensures persistency and reliable connectivity.

Next steps:

Treat your OS upgrade like a new install. Once your printer is successfully connected to your network, run its installation utility. Just like installing for the very first time on a new computer.

Drivers and supporting documentation for your product can be found here:

PIXMA TS6350 - Canon Europe https://share.google/AOQTMDWnMwI3wHIaj

It's possible these configuration changes could temporarily impact your wife's ability to print, but she can easily remove the device and re-add it as an IP printer on her Mac. This should take all of about 5 minutes. She will not need to install any new software.

Hello, I'm based in the UK. I have enjoyed a Pixma TS6350 as a wireless home printer for years. My wife and I use it a fair bit. I updated my OS & MS applications (Word/Excel/PPoint) from an old Windows version (2018 & not supported anymore) to MS 365 today. My decision to update to MS 365 was triggered by an MS statement that my Windows version had reached its EOL (End of Life). I ignored it until I couldn't print, and hoped that by switching to MS365 I would 1) have a supported OS software and 2) be able to print. But I cannot print - while my wife using a Macbook has had no problem. This is the second time I have been left without printing at home for a full day due to MS software updates. I went back to my notes from 3 years ago, and reviewed advice on the internet, but nothing has worked so far: downloading drivers from Canon website and re-installing; rebooting a few times; investigating whether the wireless reception on the printer malfunctioned (it did not as it still receives and prints my wife's docs). I would welcome a few suggestions.

Thanks for joining the conversation, YBon! We appreciate the info, though we need to let you know that the PIXMA TS6350 is not supported by our team here at Canon USA since that product isn't available in this country. If you live outside the United States, please click HERE and select your country to find support in your part of the world. Your fellow Community members are still welcome to offer their advice.

Thanks for choosing Canon!

Hi Rick, I have removed the IJ printer device from my computer. Not sure how to uninstall all software drivers & Canon applications. I also don't know how to assign a static IP on our home network. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated.
