PIXMA G3570 App settings don't produce good color

hi! I bought a canon g3570 a few weeks ago because I print out drawings etc for my son. but feel everything is weak and faddish even black color turns gray? I have tried goggle and different settings. even bought 5 different quality paper all the way down to normal copy paper. the app that is for my Canon has some setting I can't find because if I turn off "override" from the app I got a crystal clear picture at least black color was black. but as soon as I activate use setting from the app everything is just "garbage" I'm not good at this but can anyone give me some advice?

have tested deepclean, nozzle cleaner. I don't see any bubbles in the tank. I'm on the verge of just sending it back. too difficult for an idiot like me.
