topic Canon Professional Print and Layout not working with Photoshop on Windows 11 in Printer Software & Networking

I just purchased a new computer and have been reinstalling all of my programs, coming from Windows 10 to now Windows 11. Running Photoshop 26.1, and 1.6.1 for Canon Pro Print and Layout.

On my old computer, I was having issues with Photoshop 25 and CPPL, so was using a version of 24. After installing and having to move CPPL into the plugin folder of Photoshop like always, the program now shows under file>automate. However, whenever I try to open an image from Photoshop, nothing happens, and after several minutes of no activity, I get a message saying photoshop has encountered a problem and needs to close. It has happened several times now.

I'm able to open the program on its own and open saved images into CPPL, however I also now notice that my saved profiles for various Red River paper are no longer accessible from the printer profile selection tab under color management.

Can someone please help? I'm not the most knowledgeable nor patient person when it comes to computers....
