&lt;P&gt;I am a new customer of Cannon. I bought a new Imageclass656c, and I have not been able to scan my document. The system could not check my SMTP connection to the SMTP server. I have checked my internet, it is working. I will appreciate any help. Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You need to use an app password.&amp;nbsp; For Gmail, enter the 16 digits without dashes.&amp;nbsp; Be sure to use&amp;nbsp;port 587.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;There is not an alternate configuration.&amp;nbsp; Respectfully, if you did everything listed, it will work. Somewhere you've missed a setting or have not entered something correctly.&amp;nbsp; What error message are you receiving?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please provide your configuration.&amp;nbsp; I'll do my best to help you identify what is incorrect.&amp;nbsp; Please use the link above to my other post there are images with the correct settings for Gmail.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
