I have installed the software and drivers on a home Desktop and Laptop. I can print and use MF Scan from both computers. But when I'm at the printer trying to "Scan to Computer", the Desktop is always there, but the Laptop does not stay in the selection menu. How do I get the Laptop to always be available (assuming it is actively up and running on the network)? All devices are on the same LAN. The printer and laptop are wifi, the Desktop is ethernet.

Ensure network discovery is fully enabled on your laptop for all network profiles (private, public), and disable any power-saving features that might put the network adapter to sleep. Also, check your firewall settings on the laptop to ensure they aren't blocking the printer from detecting it.

I think I have discovered what is causing the issue. My wife has to log into her work with a VPN. When she does that, the laptop is no longer on our local network thus there is no communication in either direction with the laptop and the the printer.
