While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount.       <title>Windows 11 and MF229dw device won't work</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a new Windows 11 PC.&amp;nbsp; It recognizes the MF229dw printer as a Canonmf220s (Canon MF 220 series).&amp;nbsp; However any attempt to print doesn't work.&amp;nbsp; No error message.&amp;nbsp; Other Windows 11 devices print to it just fine.&amp;nbsp; I figured maybe I just needed a driver update.&amp;nbsp; I went to this page to download the driver.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/imageclass-mf229dw#idReference%3Dsoftware-drivers" target="_blank"&gt;Canon Support for imageCLASS MF229dw | Canon U.S.A., Inc.&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The driver description is "&lt;SPAN&gt;Windows 64bit] imageCLASS MF229dw/MF227dw MFDrivers (UFR II / FAX / ScanGear)" .&amp;nbsp; When I run the downloaded file it tells me the setup is not for 64 bit windows.&amp;nbsp; Clearly the description says it is.&amp;nbsp; I tried to grab the drivers from another PC with no luck.&amp;nbsp; I see the update date on the download page is 1/14/25 - so you would think it would be ok.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any advise?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Yes.&amp;nbsp; This is the issue.&amp;nbsp; Canon does not provide a certified ARM based driver as yet.&amp;nbsp; I'm not sure Microsoft supports the MF series natively as I don't see it listed in the knowledgebase.&lt;/P&gt;
