topic Setting up PIXMA G3400 in Printer Software & Networking

I simply cannot get the setup of my PIXMA G3400 completed - will not connect to the wireless network. I have tried everything for two days now.

Using a MacBook Air connected to WiFi - there are no other wireless networks around so I assume that the printer is trying to connect to the same one, but there isn't any actual way of checking that since there is no display on the printer itself providing any information.

When switching on, all looks good - on and wireless lights are lit. I follow the instructions in the setup program and sometimes the orgnge warning light comes on, flashing twice. Sometimes it flashes constantly and sometimes it it is on constantly. There doesn't seem to be a consistent error.

Anyone have any thoughts........Thank You!
