ImageClass Windows 11 "All-In-One" App

Canon - you make a GREAT product! This is my third Canon printer, and so far, I love it. I only have one gripe...

When are you going to develop an App that lets you control scan, print - all printer functions - from your computer? You have one for cell phones, but how many people roam around town printing stuff from their phones? I'm sure there are a few, but I'm not one of them. When I want to control my printer, I like sitting behind my Windows 11 computer.

Please help! A world-class company like yours can certainly spend a few dollars developing an App...

You don't say WHAT model printer you have, but printers typically HAVE software that does what you want.

The majority of the image class drivers I've seen offer comprehensive control of Canon's printers. Print and Scan. Please tell us which model you're referring to so we can help investigate further.

As the title of this thread implies, I have an ImageCLASS MF656Cdw. I'm looking for a Windows 11 App to run on my computer, not control the printer from my phone.

I own this printer. 🙂 The print driver and MF scan utility offer complete control of the device, print and scan.

Have you visited the product's support portal?

Canon Support for Color imageCLASS MF656Cdw | Canon U.S.A., Inc.

You will want to install:

[Windows 64bit] MF656Cdw/ MF654Cdw/ MF653Cdw/ MF652Cw MFDrivers (Generic Plus UFR II / Generic FAX / ScanGear)

and

[Windows 32bit & 64bit] MF Scan Utility Ver.1.21.0.2

Print Driver and ScanGear

Please tell me what it is that's missing for you?

The Canon Print App works very well too. Although it doesn't have the same level of granularity (control), its super helpful on my Android and iOS devices.
