    <description>&lt;P&gt;I had the same error with my Canon turned out the scanner driver wasn’t fully installing even though it looked like it did. I ended up uninstalling everything (including My Image Garden), rebooting, then reinstalling the &lt;STRONG&gt;scanner driver first&lt;/STRONG&gt;, then the rest. Also had to make sure Windows didn’t auto-install a generic driver. After that, it worked.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>PIXMA G3110 Scanner is not connected</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;. When I try to scan photos, I get an error message that the scanning software was unable to communicate with the scanner. Code: 5,157.69.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have no problems printing , it's just the scan function. I'm using Canon-provided software - My Image Garden - to scan.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have already reinstalled the drivers and done all the procedures requested in the manual, but the scanner still doesn't work, not even via USB connection.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WIN 11&lt;/P&gt;</description>
