PIXMA MG3620 How to use AirPrint via iPhone

My printer is connected to the wifi, pops up as an option for airprint but when I send something through my phone nothing actually prints. I was able to send things to the printer from my computer. I do not want to use the app to print anything from my phone, I would like to figure out how to use the airprint.
