Hello,

If you are able to print but you are unable to scan, it would point to a network communication issue. If you have already tried power cycling your router, you can also try moving the printer to get a better signal. Scanning would require a stronger connection. For assistance with a situation like this, I suggest contacting support directly at 1-800-652-2666. Our agents would be happy to assist with checking the settings and network environment.

Thanks for joining the conversation, Johnpltsui!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the imageCLASS MF210 series. The model number should appear just below the printer's LCD screen. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!
