IJ Scan Utility Can't edit PDF files generated by the iphone Print App

Sometimes I use the IJ Scan Utility for some quick editing of PDF files, in particular, merging files and reorganizing pages. Imagine my surprise when I find that the IJ Scan Utility tells me it can't PDF files generated by other apps -- especially when that app is the Canon iPhone Print app.

So that everyone is on the same page, can you let us know which Canon printer you're using, and which operating system your computer has?

Please let us know if you can think of any other details that might help!

You must know that doesn't matter one bit regarding what I posted about. It has everything to do with a file incompatibility between the PDFs generated by Print and what can be read and merged by the IJ Scan Utility. Nonetheless, I'm using a Pixma 7020 printer and Windows 11, latest update.
