Please clarify:

By "disk drive" do you mean CD drive?

What do you mean by "download"? Do you mean you have a software CD and you need to INSTALL the software?

No need for a CD and CD drive. Just DOWNLOAD (proper use of the term) the software from Canon's website onto your computer. Then install it.
