It goes to print, but then goes idlle.&amp;nbsp; My printer is connected to the wifi and so is my computer. I do not know what else to do.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The GX1060 does not appear to be a model intended for sale in the US, so I'll do the best I can.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The printer supports both 2.4 and 5Ghz connectivity.&amp;nbsp; It doesn't matter which you use, Nor does it matter how other devices are connecting to your network. They can be wired or on a different band and still communicate with the printer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you also share the version and build of MAC OS you are using the printer with?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Start here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Connect your 1060 to your wireless network. Log into your router and look at the list of attached devices. Confirm its connection and the IP address assigned.&amp;nbsp; Now assign or reserve this IP as a static address.&amp;nbsp; This is done on the router and ensures persistency.&amp;nbsp; It only has to be done once.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When complete, power cycle the printer and ensure it's using the IP address you have assigned.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Visit the GX1060 support portal and download the drivers for your operating system.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.canon.com.au/printers/maxify-gx1060-megatank/support" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;GX1060 Support&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now return to your Mac, Apple Menu, System preferences, printers and scanners.&amp;nbsp; Remove the printer from your system. Using the minus key (-). Restart your Mac.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Run the installation software. If it gives you the option to add the device as an IP printer, use that method.&amp;nbsp; If not, remove the device again and this time add it using the (+) symbol and select the icon to the right in the add printer dialog.&amp;nbsp; This will allow you to add the printer using its IP address.&amp;nbsp; Use the IP address in the top field.&amp;nbsp; It duplicates in the field below which you can delete and give the printer a friendly name.&amp;nbsp; Use the driver dialog at the very bottom and select the driver you installed from the drop-down menu.&amp;nbsp; This tells your computer to install the printer as an IP printer.&amp;nbsp; To use a friendly name you recognize and to use the Canon print driver you installed previously.&lt;/P&gt;
