topic imagePROGRAF GP-200: Can't print on a Chromebook from PosterArtist.Canon in Printer Software & Networking

Hello!

We have purchased an imagePROGRAF GP-200. We only have Chromebooks available. I see that I can print to the poster printer through ChromeOS, but when trying to print from PosterArtist.canon, it tells me to download and run something that never downloads. I'd like to be able to print from PosterArtist since there are more settings available that are specific to printing on the rolls of poster paper, than simply printing from ChromeOS.

I've tried using the PosterArtist Chrome app. What am I doing wrong? Our school doesn't have funding to purchase a full Windows or Mac PC right now.

Thanks!

Hi kayycoh,

The imagePROGRAF GP-200 is designed to be used with Windows and Mac operating systems. The GP-200 is not supported being used with a Chrome OS because we do not have drivers for that operating system. Poster Artist Online uses the Windows and Mac drivers to print posters, click HERE for the recommended computer specifications. I hope this is helpful.
