topic PIXMA MG3620 Software and Driver needs to be Re-Installed for every scan? in Printer Software & Networking

I used to have no problem with my MG3620 scanner, but now that I have had the device for over a year the scanner somehow doesn't work anymore??? I uninstalled and re-installed the driver/software for the computer, and it seems to work again after that for a few scans, but then it tells me that there are no scanners in the network or my scanner is off. I have uninstalled and re-installed the software/driver a few times now and frankly it is getting very time consuming to do that every time I need to scan. Is anyone else having this problem or have you figured out a fix? I am using the Canon IJ Scan Utility Lite application for scanning, on a Mac with os Sequoia 15.3.1 currently.
