    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I am on a macbook pro latest version update. I can print from my printer, but when I try to scan using the Canon IJ Scan Utility Lite app, I get the following error message:&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;You do not have the required privileges to access the specified folder.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Code:9,244,3. I do have the Canon Print app that allows me to scan, but I want to use the utility lite app because I want to be able to doc feed several pages to scan simultaneously. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have looked at the folder permissions and noticed that it shows fetching. I am logged in as the admin. Not sure what else to do. If someone can help, please. Thank you&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;ATXRunner,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please try these steps:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Right click your desktop and create a new folder on your desktop.&amp;nbsp; Name it Scans.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Open the IJ Scan Utility Lite.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Click the Settings button in the lower right corner.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Click on Document Scan on the left side.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; In the Save settings section in the middle of the right side, click the Save in drop down.&amp;nbsp; Select the Scans folder that you had just created on your desktop.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;6.&amp;nbsp; Click OK at the bottom.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;7.&amp;nbsp; Load the document to be scanned and then click the Document button on the IJ Scan Utility Lite.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Your document will be scanned and saved in the Scans folder on your desktop.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you very much.&amp;nbsp; I had a "scans" folder already existing (did a serach of the computer) and that gave me the same error message when I tried it first.&amp;nbsp; I went back and created a new folder on desktop called "scans1" and then it worked correctly.&amp;nbsp; Really appreciate the help.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think the error occured because I purchased a new MAC and the data&amp;nbsp; transfer must not work on the IJ utility app.&amp;nbsp; Printer works great and happy you could solve the problem.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
