    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried many times to download the drivers for my printer. I am the administrator of my computer and I have tried right clicking and running as administrator on the download. I have tried turning everything off and back on. I simply cannot download the necessary driver so I can print.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am running Windows 11 - I have also tried using the Windows 10 version too. Nothing is working&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Are there no Canon personnel on here to "actually" help with the problem? I don't understand. Is it just other people looking for help and reaching out saying they have the same problem or have no idea what to do?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ha ha - very funny. So you just send people to "REGISTER" a product that you don't put on your registration list?&amp;nbsp; Leaving them high and dry yet again. Definitely seeing what "customer Service" means to Canon!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;We need further clarification from you.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;You indicated that you can't download a file from the internet.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;"&lt;SPAN&gt;I simply cannot download the necessary driver so I can print".&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

Nothing is working."&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Based on that, It sounds like you have downloaded a Windows 11 and Windows 10 driver, tried both and have been unsuccessful adding the printer to your system?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is that the case?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Connectivity options include USB, ethernet and wireless. Which are you using?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; It's important that you are clear about the steps you've performed. What worked?&amp;nbsp; What didn't and any observations (such as error messages)&amp;nbsp; you may have received.&amp;nbsp; What files did you download or try to download? What steps did you perform?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The Canon Community is user to user.&amp;nbsp; It is occasionally visited by Canon Product experts.&amp;nbsp; Primarily however, the people that you'll receive help from here are fellow Canon users like yourself.&amp;nbsp; Canon offers official support, but you do have to register your product first. I checked and your product is not listed in MyCanon for registration.&amp;nbsp; This is likely due to its age.&amp;nbsp; Canon has continued to develop drivers for this product even though its over a decade old now.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

I double-click the Setup file as Administrator, get to step "Select the type of connection", select Network connection, then Next. Then I get the error message&amp;nbsp;"You do not have sufficient privileges to install the program, Log on again with administrator privileges."&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I proceed to have the drivers and software installed?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best regards Erlend&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You are&amp;nbsp; horrible at "support"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is a big problem with the "driver"&amp;nbsp; being downloaded from cannon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is missing the drivers for the printer itself. It is also missing the toolbox or scanner apps . of whatever the printer uses on the pc to enable fax / scanner functions&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and with&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have windows 10 and I also experience the same issues others have.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was amazed how you blew off the responders and ignored the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I only registered to this site to respond to your reply to the lowly customers of canon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now what I will be doing you might ask?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) I will be filing a BBB complaint.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) attempting to call cannon corporate&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) make a youtube video mention your response and the screen shots of your response&amp;nbsp; .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It is all great for users to try to help each other, but it is impossible when the problem is with the drivers / software provided by Canon is DEFECTIVE!!!!!&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;!!!!!!!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
