I have been trying to print to my Imageclass MF229DW printer from my iPhone running ios18. I’ve tried downloading the new Canon Print app, but my printer does not show up on it. I can still print from my iPad which is running iOS17.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The imageCLASS MF229dw is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You can also speak with a Canon Upgrade Program specialist to help you score a modern replacement that would meet your current needs at a discount. You can reach them Monday through Friday at 1-866-443-8002.

Hope this helps!

I would hate to replace a perfectly good printer all because Canon is too lazy to make software updates for all its products. If it worked with AirPrint before then it should always work with AirPrint no matter what changes Apple makes. Corporate greed is a wonderful thing.
