Greetings,

The printer supports 2.4Ghz wireless that uses WPA2 encryption. Please log into your TP-Link router and ensure it's meets these requirements.

This might require giving each network broadcast a unique name or temporarily disabling the 5 and 6G broadcasts temporarily while connecting to the 2.4 GHz network. Also ensure the encryption is set as WPA3/WPA2 or WPA2 to ensure backwards compatibility.

I am trying to connect my new Cannon MG3620 printer to my Windows 11 PC over WiFi by running win-mg3600-1_1-n_jucd.exe setup.

I am using a AX3000 4-Stream Wi-Fi 6 Router for my WiFi LAN

The setup lists the printer as per the window below, but after clicking Next the following window immediately indicates "Connection failed. Use another method for setup. Follow the on-screen instructions."

How do I resolve the error that follows this below window?

Thanks for your quick response!

It does not appear I can directly disable the 5G in the router settings.

However, would enabling a guest network with the 2.4G setting I selected below be an alternative that would work?
