Professional Print and Layout compatibility with macOS Sequoia?

Hi

I am using Canon Professional Print and Layout Software on my mac withCanon imagePROGRAF PRO 300.

I love it but my macbook pro M1 Max is now at OS Sequoia 15.1.1 which is no longer compatible when printing from photoshop 2025 or as a standalone.
I have upgraded the 300 drivers on mac to latest 300 Cup printer driver (airprint)
I got fantastic print results in mono with the Canon Professional Print and Layout Software black and white settings rather than using the paper icc but they are not available to me in PS

Is it planned to make the Canon Professional Print and Layout Software compatible with latest mac OS?

If not how should I configure printing to get comparable mono results? Do I need to run the canon 300 to manage colour settings (formally the Canon Professional Print and Layout Software did this not printer) - if so what settings to use that best mimics the black and white mode of CPP&LS

The printer driver settings offered in the PS print menu are far inferior to the Canon Professional Print and Layout Software's versions

help please

Hello.

I'm not in tech support; however, I've been doing this for a very, very long time, and I'd like to try to help a bit. Tap this link, then follow the steps to connect the printer to your computer - it will install or re-install the necessary Canon software and drivers: https://canon.us/pro300setup

It should automatically recognize whether you're on Windows or macOS and do all the heavy lifting for you. Once you've done that, you should be good to go, but if you still need help, don't hesitate to contact support at 800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666) or https://canon.us/account

I don't have a Pro-300, but its a cold, rainy day here in New Hampshire, so I ran a test.

I have a MacBook Air M2 w/Sequoia 15.2.

I downloaded and executed the PP&L installer.

I was able to open the plugin in LrC. I couldn't verify that it would print since I don't have a compatible printer.

I did not find PP&L in the Automate option of Ps2025.

I looked in the Ps2024 folder and in the Plugins folder there was a folder for PPL. I copied that folder into the Plugins folder for Ps2025.

When I ran Ps2025 there was an option for PL&L in the Automate dropdown. The plugin did execute, but once again I couldn't try printing because of no compatible printer.

That latest version PPL didn't work on my side... Maybe because I should also update my iMac to Sequoia 15? I'm still with Ventura 13 but just updated Photoshop 2025, which recommends to use Sequoia 15.

I don’t know. I never recommended someone to update an OS without knowing everything about their system. You may have components that are not compatible. Canon PSP and PP& L are not essential software. Many people, me included, successfully print without using them.
