Greetings,

No one is going to contact you. This is a user to user forum. If you'd like official support from Canon, you can call them at 1-800-652-2666. I would suggest registering your product in the MyCanon portal before calling.

MyCanon

Assuming the subnet you posted is accurate and not a typo, I'll make the following suggestion.

For a standard home network with 254 available IPs.

192.168.1.0/24 CIDR

192.168.1.0 - 192.168.1.255

Use subnet mask > 255.255.255.0

Edit, your personal info will be removed per form policy.

I've been trying for weeks now to get it working consistently. i just downloaded the Master Setup software from the Support page and it allowed me to install and connect to it, but now I can't print to it. It did allow me to print a test page while I was connected to it during this install. The IP address assigned to it in the Test Print Page was 192.168.115.1:80. I have no idea where it got that IP address from. The IP address on my computer is 192.168.1.145 and my subnet is 182.168.0.0.

What the heck is wrong with your printer, Canon or Pixmar? I just connected a HP Printer that is 10 years older than this one and it connected all by its own with appropriate ip address and I was able to install it easily from my computer.

Someone didn't quality test this enough. I purchased this 2 weeks ago and have yet to get it working properly. It seems to work when it wants to. And getting support is basically non-existent. Do Better, Canon, not worse than your competitors. Please have someone contact me. <Personal info removed per Community policy.>

Something is wrong here.

Is your router using DHCP addresses, or static addresses? If it's DHCP, computer and printer addresses should both have the same first three numbers, say 192.168.1.xxx. If you are using static IP addresses, they all must also have the same first three numbers.

Also. a typical subnet mask is 255.255.255.0.

A default gateway would be 192.168.1.1, which is the router's IP address.

Can you clarify things?
