Greetings,

I'll do my best to help you solve your issue. I need to know a few things.

Brand and model of your router? Is this a single device or mesh system?

Who is the ISP? I'm asking because I'd like to know what you are using for DNS.

IPv6 probably isn't going to affect things one way or another 😄

A static IP set for the device on your router is a good practice.

Are you running any 3rd party anti-virus?

This sounds like a hardware or settings issue. Probably not with the printer.

Recently purchased a MF654Cdw, and while I enjoy the print speed and quality I'm having a hard time enjoying having to power cycle the printer every time I need to print.

I'm using ethernet, not wireless.

I can power on the printer and ping it/print to it without issues. When I leave it idle for 6+ hours I can no longer ping it or print to it. I have to power cycle it to get it back on the network and able to print. It does have the sleep icon, I can wake it up from the local control panel but it still won't ping/print.

I don't want to use wireless because I don't want to slow down the print speed or deal with wireless connectivity drops/roaming IPs.

I've set a manual IP on the server, I've tried setting a reservation on my router for the IP - neither fixed the issue.

I've enabled IPv6 just because, still didn't fix the issue.
