imageclass mf229dw driver for Mac OS Monterey 12 cannot be found

Even though the OS compatibility chart says that Mac Monterey is compatible, I cannot find a driver.

I have been having a printer issue and decided to reinstall the driver but cannot find the appropriate version. What can I do?

You can select Mac for the operating system and Mac OS Monterey v12 for the version. In the list of downloads that appear, you can download and install the MF Printer Driver & Utilities for Mac V10.11.12 [macOS 10.14.6 - macOS 15.0.1] and the Scanner Driver & Utilities for Mac V2.15.17 [macOS 10.14.6 - macOS 15.0.1].
