      <title>URGENT: PIXMA MX492 won't scan after update to macOS Sequoia</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have updated my mac OS to sequoina and my scanner stopped working. I have tried to install the updated software from Canon but that didn't help. Below is the error&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H4&gt;Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- Scanner is turned off.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- (If using Wired LAN connection) It is disconnected from Wired LAN.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- (If using wireless LAN connection) Signal strength is poor due to obstructions.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- Network connection is prohibited by security software.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- Different scanner on the network is selected.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please check and try again.&lt;/H4&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;Please help me asap. Appreciate it!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You may try scanning using Image Capture, which is an application available on your Mac already, but please note, the PIXMA MX492 is not supported with macOS v15 (Sequoia).&amp;nbsp; You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
