      <title>PIXMA MG7720 and Canon IJ Scan Utility 2 software not scanning.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a iMac running 15.1 and have a Canon MG7700 with updated firmware, and I am having been using the Canon IJ Scan utility but it no longer scans. &amp;nbsp;The printer is connected to my router with a USB cable and I can print to it fine as well as other Mac's in the household. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I try to scan a document, I get the following message;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;- Scanner is turned off.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;- (If using Wired LAN connection) It is disconnected from Wired LAN.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;- (If using wireless LAN connection) Signal strength is poor due to obstructions.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;- Network connection is prohibited by security software.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;- Different scanner on the network is selected.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Check the above and try scanning again.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;If you still cannot communicate, restart the computer.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Code:15,157,0&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've turned the printer off/on&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Restarted the Wifi router&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Restarted the mac's. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've ensure that printer has up to date firmware and the Canon s/w is up to date as well.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ive turned my VPN off. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I turned off the Apple firewall. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
