    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello: &amp;nbsp;I have an IMAC and have been scanning from my Pixma MX 922&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;&amp;nbsp;successfully using Image Capture on my IMAC. &amp;nbsp;Everything was working fine and then I changed the Ink Cartridges and downloaded new drivers from the printer. &amp;nbsp;From this point Image Capture didn't work as it used to. &amp;nbsp;When I tried to scan an image, Image Capture opened but was not populated with any scanning settings-just blank. &amp;nbsp;When I closed the Image Capture app open in my Dock r and then went into the Applications folder and re-opened Image Capture, I then saw all the scanning settings and could scan. &amp;nbsp;Then I was troubleshooting this issue on this site to see if I get a more permanent &lt;/FONT&gt;solution&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;&amp;nbsp;and found something that I thought was a fix--it was a reply from expert Patrick to someone else who was having a similar scanning issue with a MX922. &amp;nbsp;I followed Patrick's advice and went into &amp;nbsp;Library/ Image Capture/Devices and removed all references to Canon products and a reference to an Epson printer. &amp;nbsp;I then downloaded this driver to my computer from the Canon site: &amp;nbsp;mnt_-mac-4...-ea21_3.dmg. &amp;nbsp;I went back to Image Capture thinking that may have solved my issue. &amp;nbsp;In fact, Image Capture now does not work at all and I am seeking help fixing this issue. &amp;nbsp;l think I may need to delete the driver I added and add back some other drivers that I deleted. &amp;nbsp;But I &lt;/FONT&gt;don't&lt;FONT face="inherit"&gt;&amp;nbsp;know how. Would very much appreciate step by step help and direction as now I can't scan at all. &amp;nbsp;FYI printing function is fine. &amp;nbsp;Thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
