hello canon community. I got a battery pack for my Selphy cp1500, now i got a question, how do you conect the phone to the printer wireless when there is not Wifi?

I mean, I wish to go camping and need to print some samples of my pictures on site , there will be not WiFi out there. I am trying to connect them with my wifi router off, and using the "direct connection option" , but i cannot link the printer to my phone . My phone cannot find the printer network , What I'm doing wrong ?

Hi Ram66,

When you wish to print from a mobile device (like a phone) with your SELPHY CP1500, you can enable a direct connection.

To do this, please follow the steps provided on this page:

Set up a direct Wi-Fi connection between smartphones and SELPHY

Once the direct connection is enabled on your SELPHY CP1500, next you can print from your phone. To print, please follow the steps provided in the appropriate link below:

Printing from a Smartphone via AirPrint (iOS)

Printing from a Smartphone via Mopria (Android)
