PIXMA TS3722 Phone says password is incorrect

This is the first time for me owning a printer and I put the.password (serial number) on the phone but it says.its incorrect. I checked and double checked I spelled it.correct over and over. Cam u help me . I have a canon 3722. Please anyone have.any help please

I could be wrong, but if you are trying to use your phone to wirelessly connect to your printer, the password it's looking for might be your wi-fil password to connect to your router.
