PIXMA MG3500 Series: How to do a silent software install

Any suggestions on how to perform a silent install of the MG3500 app and drivers for a USB connected scanner?

Have tried several switches in CMD but none work. I know there are options that need to be passed through UI (selecting USB or Network), so I'm thinking that's why.

Are you trying to install the printer on a Windows or Mac computer?

Hi sjmckeeman,

If you connect the MG3500 series printer with the usb and select add printer from devices and printers it would install a generic windows version of the driver. This driver would not have all the functions that the Canon driver would ( paper profiles, scanner driver, scanning software).

I recommend installing the MG3500 series MP Drivers Ver. 1.01 by clicking HERE and downloading the driver from our website.
