WPS stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup. This is numeric code that can be set on your router if it supports this feature. It not a very secure method of authentication since its complexity is only numeric. Not every router supports WPS, so you don't need it to connect your printer to a wireless network. Just use the Wi-Fi broadcast's SSID name and password to authenticate and connect your printer to your network. We can provide more specific steps when you provide the model of your device.
