My Maxify MB5420 printer can not reach server to get updated firmware

The printer says it can not reach the server. It can communicate with my desktop on the WiFi network which is, in fact, connected to the server. Are these firmware updates no long downloadable by the printer? Can I get a file to install from my desktop?

I did not see firmware listed on the product support portal.

Here are the instructions to verify the installed version and check for updated firmware. If you are in doubt, contact Canon Support. They can tell you if a newer version than what you have is indeed available.
