Canon MB5420 printer - the latest firmware is on the server install the firmware update from device

I got the message displays on my Canon MB5420 LCD screen

"the latest firmware is on the server"
"install the firmware update from device settings in setup"

How do I loacte and install the new firmware?. I went to Canon USA site

and there is no new FW for my OS Windows 10(selected).

Hi dof573,

To update the firmware of your MAXIFY MB5420, please follow these steps:

1. Press the HOME button on your MAXIFY MB5420.

2. Swipe the screen and then tap SETUP.

3. Tap Device Settings.

4. Tap Firmware update.

5. Tap Update and then Yes.

Your MAXIFY MB5420 will download and install the update.

I hope that you are still available.

The printer says it can not reach the server.

The product (Maxify MB5420) is registered, and I can not find the updated firmware to download and install from a computer on my home network.

So, how do I either fix the connection issues from the printer to get the firmware, or download and install from my computer. Your manuals are impossible to navigate for these issues, or are incomplete.
